Sick

Well, swine have flown in my house. T2 was sick last Monday, took her to the dr. No flu. The next day T3's school called me at work, she was sick. Took her to the doctor, the receptionist knows her name and birthday! She had flu. They did not type it but 99% of the cases are swine. We tried Tamiflu, but she threw it up. So that $68 was a waste(or so I thought) She was better the next day, but stayed home 2 extra days. Everyone was fine until Sunday. We were sitting in our ABF(adult Bible Fellowship, Sunday School) and they brought T4 to us. She said her head hurt. Get home and she has a fever. Took her to the doctor, yes on Sunday. Flu test came back neg. But the doctor said there is a 50% false neg with swine flu! So he told me what dose of T3's Tamiflu to give her and she is not throwing it up. She has no fever, but says her tummy hurts. Now T1 is not feeling well. I am not sure what is wrong with her. She came home from school yesterday and went to sleep and is still sleeping. I have checked her and she has no fever. So all 4 girls have had something.

Great, Now T4 has tummy trouble!! When will it end?!?!

School

Well, they went back to school. T1 is a sophomore, T2 is in 3rd grade and T1 started Kindergarten. I only cried at church yesterday. I was sad and happy about her going. She will do well and make a lot of friends, but I don't have her with me as much. It was sad taking just T4 to child care while I had a meeting.
There are a lot of changes at work too. I am going to miss my coteacher from last year(J), she is so sweet. At least I have a great coteacher this year and I get to see J. I am glad I am with older kiddos, it is a bit odd because they are the same age as my class from last year. My class from last year is mostly next door.

Camping

Well, Spring Break has come and gone. We did not go on some big vacation. We did yard work one day, and we went camping Friday, Sat and Sunday! We had fun. We went with 2 other families, each with 3+ kids. There were 11 kids! It was so much fun. We went to Eisenhower State Park at Lake Texhoma. We hiked, fished, napped, cooked out and had s'mores!

Now I am home, school has started and I have way too much laundry to do!

Spring Break

Well, it is spring break around here. We are hanging out around town all week. T2 and I have some Girl Scout cookie booth sales, well 1 left, and we are possibly going camping with a couple of families from church. But that is about all. I think we will watch "Muppets take Manhattan" another 1000 times. T4 discovered she has a teddy bear that resembles Fozzy and she runs around saying "Waka waka waka!" It is cute! But I am tired of that movie! Haha!

I think I will be a little more consistent with posting here. I will also try to post some pictures!

Santa

We went to Santa's Village tonight. T1 did not go, I guess at 14 Santa is no longer cool. T4 called Santa Misser Hoho, to his face. He laughed. T2 wants a pink poodle webkin(and a snake one, and this and that and the other.) T3 wants a Barbie and a "fake dog". T4 wants a baby doll(because she can't live with only "Babybaby" and baby and Baby dino(not an actual doll)). It is so fun hearing them talk about how much they want to see Santa, but they get all shy when it is time to talk to him.

Birthday dinner

Yesterday was T2's 8th birthday! So we went to Macaroni Grill. It costs a small fortune to feed my crew there! It was so yummy! I had my usual, Penne Rustica. We all had desert, which added to the cost a great deal but their Tirmisu is to die for!! T2 had the new chocolate tirimisu, it was pretty yummy too! T3 had a choir preformance before we went to dinner, so we were all in the Christmas spirit! 3 and 4 year olds can be so cute when you put them infront of a bunch of parents and tell them to sing!

Dinner last night was also my birthday dinner. I am not dealing well with turning 35 and my bithday isn't even til Sunday! It is hard to believe that I am full force into my 30s. It seems like yesterday I was 27, having T2.

Out of the Mouths of Babes

Did you know it is Mismis time? And that Misser HoHo comes to see you at Mismis time?
